The MONTHLY REPORT for February 2022

The tender for the provision of textbooks for the University of Montenegro was completed. The study visit to the University of Zagreb was prepared successfully and it started on January 30, 2022. The repeated tender for proofreading of textbook was underway. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis regarding current activities.

The MONTHLY REPORT for December 2021

This month the financial report was prepared and the financial plan for 2022 was drafted. A review of the current activities was done. The tender for the provision of textbooks for the University of Montenegro continued. The bids for proofreading of the textbooks were analysed and some of them were rejected due to technical omissions, leading to the decision to repeat the tender for some textbooks. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis regarding current activities.

The MONTHLY REPORT for November 2021

This month the work on the provision of textbooks for the University of Montenegro continues. Another training on construction of valid tests was organized. The Project was presented at an event at the University of Montenegro. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis regarding the tenders for procurement of textbooks and proofreading. Meetings with the UoM officers for financial issues and public procurement were held as well.

The MONTHLY REPORT for October 2021

This month the announcement for publishing of papers was sent to the participants of the Conference held in September. The Project was presented at an event on inclusion and diversity, held at the University of Donja Gorica and organized by the Erasmus+ Office from Podgorica. Two meetings of the Project team were organized. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis regarding publishing of papers from the Conference and preparation of the training programme in November. The tender procedure for literature was underway.

The MONTHLY REPORT for September 2021

There were intensive activities regarding preparation of the LSP Conference. The Conference was organized in Budva, on September 17 and 18 in a hybrid form and with participation of the colleagues from the EU partner universities (the University of Zagreb and the University of Warsaw). There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis regarding the Summer School and preparation of the LSP Conference. The tender procedure for literature was underway.

The MONTHLY REPORT for July 2021

The Summer School continued throughout the first three weeks of July at all three universities and was successfully completed, with participation of 100 students. The ceremony of awardings certificates for the Summer School to students and lecturers, held on July 19, 2021. The tender procedure for literature was underway. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis regarding the Summer School and preparation of the LSP Conference.

The MONTHLY REPORT for June 2021

Additional activities continued regarding reviewing of the literature lists of the University of Montenegro for the tender procedure. Meeting was held with the head of the Public Procurement Department, which led to the announcement of the tender. Meeting with the President of the Board of Directors and head of and staff of the Financial Department of the University of Montenegro were also held. The work on reviewing the LSP textbooks was completed. The Summer School started at all three universities. Additional meetings for the preparation of the Summer School and the International LSP conference were organised. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis, as well as regular communication with reviewers of textbooks.

The MONTHLY REPORT for May 2021

Additional activities continued regarding reviewing of the literature lists of the University of Montenegro for the tender procedure. The work on reviewing the LSP textbooks started. Preparation activities for the summer school started, including setting dates and preparing promotional material and activities. Additional meeting for the preparation of the International LSP conference started. There was permanent communication among the team members on a daily basis, as well as regular communication with reviewers of textbooks.

The MONTHLY REPORT for April 2021

The tender procedures and issues related to public procurement were partly finished in March, which required additional market research and reviewing of the literature lists of the University of Montenegro, leading to submission of the new specifications and lists on April 19. The webinar on blended teaching methodology was carried out successfully between April 12th and 23rd. The work on reviewing the LSP textbooks started. Preparation for the International LSP conference started.

The MONTHLY REPORT for March 2021

The tender procedures and issues related to public procurement were partly finished. The tender for IT equipment for all three Montenegrin universities has been completed, as well as the tenders for books for the universities of Donja Gorica and Mediteran. The opening of bids took place on March 8. The tender for literature for the University of Montenegro did not succeed because the suppliers could not provide all the required books. Review of the literature lists had to be done. Writing of the LSP textbooks completed at the end of the month. We also focused on preparing the webinar on blended teaching to be held in April.

Due to the late appointment of the new coordinator and holidays, the Steering Committee meeting was transferred from December to January. The meeting was held on January 28, 2021. The tender procedures and issues related to public procurement were in the focus of the team. Writing of the LSP textbooks also continued.

The MONTHLY REPORT for December 2020

This part of the project implementation continued without the project coordinator. The procedure for appointment of a new coordinator from the University of Montenegro continued. Prof. dr Igor Lakić was appointed the coordinator of the ReFLAME project in the second half of December. However, this did not stop the implementation of the project due to the engagement of the whole project team. The tender procedures and issues related to public procurement were in the focus of the team. Tenders for procurement of literature and IT equipment were published at the end of the month. Two small procurements for printing services were concluded. Writing of the LSP textbooks also continued.

The MONTHLY REPORT for November 2020

This part of the project implementation started without the project coordinator. The previous coordinator Prof. dr Milica Vuković Stamatović had to leave the project due to private reasons. The procedure for appointment of a new coordinator started. However, this did not stop the implementation of the project due to the engagement of the whole project team. The tender procedures and issues related to public procurement were in the focus of the team. Writing of the LSP textbooks also continued.

In this reporting period, the second FL training session took place. The writing of the LSP textbooks was continued. The preparations for launching the tenders were also made, along with the necessary rebalancing of the financial plan and changing the public procurement plan.

One part of this reporting period coincided with annual vacations. In this period, preparations for the second training session took place. The writing of the LSP textbooks was continued. The preparations for launching the tenders were also made.

Even though the ninth month coincided with the annual vacations, the work on several important tasks was continued. The first training was successfully completed on 21 July; the work on updating the syllabi was continued, and the work on writing nine LSP textbooks commenced.

The MONTHLY REPORT for April 2020

In the fifth month of the project, the work on the development activities continued, albeit at a much slower pace than usual, due to the outbreak of the corona virus pandemic, which brought about many changes in the regular process of work and needed adapting to learning how to use new technologies to work at home, while at the same time tend to personal obligations without the usual outside assistance (closed kindergarten, schools, etc.) and in the environment with all kinds of restrictions imposed (reduced opening hours for shops, most facilities closed completely, etc.).

The MONTHLY REPORT for February 2020

In the third month of the project, the work on the preparatory activities was almost completed – the necessary documents were adopted. The three Montenegrin partners sent a request for the changes to be made to the equipment. Partnership agreements are being finalized and most are in the process of being signed. The project is now ready to start with the development stage.

The MONTHLY REPORT for January 2020

In the second month of the project, the work on the preparatory activities was continued. The three Montenegrin partners met to discuss the changes to be made to the equipment and a draft letter requesting the changes was produced. In addition, they collected the data needed for the status quo analysis, as well as the syllabi assessment report. The coordinator prepared the draft Quality Control Guide, draft Project Management Guide and draft Dissemination and Exploitation Guide. All these will be submitted to the partners for comments, revision and analysis, to be completed in the third month of the project. NB: In the reporting period (15 December – 14 January), there were many holiday days in both the EU countries (the last week of December) and Montenegro (1-8 January). Due to a mismatch in the holiday dates, not many days were left in which work and communication amongst all the parties involved was possible.

The MONTHLY REPORT for December 2019 describes many preparatory activities undertaken and the most important event – the project's kick-off meeting held in Nikšić.

In the first month of the project, many preparatory activities were undertaken. The most important event was the project's kick-off meeting held in Nikšić, Montenegro, on 12-13 December. The meeting was attended by two representatives from every full partner participating in the project, as well as by the additional project team members from the UoM and the UoM's administration (vice-rector, dean of the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty's vice-deans). The Steering Committee and the Quality Board were established, and many other decisions were taken regarding the implementation of the firstyear activities. In addition, the content of the partnership agreements was agreed upon, as well as the financial dynamics of the project.
